You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers. Take a look at the
most commonly asked questions that we receive from our guests.  If you don’t see an answer to the question

Q:  What sets Pocono Mountain Paintball apart from the rest?

A:  Pocono Mountain Paintball is a family owned and operated business with the goal of providing you and your group with the best paintball playing experience possible.  We achieve this by high standards of customer service, professionalism (on and off the field), quality of equipment, facilities, safety, and staff!

Q:  What is included in the admission price?

A:  All admission packages include: Admission (either half or whole day), Paintball Gun, Goggles, Unlimited Compressed Air, free parking (buses are welcome), modern facilities including a Cafe, well-stocked store, heated changing rooms and hot showers.  And don't forget our famous FREE Hot Dog BBQ. It’s a great way to finish your day with us!

Q:  What is not included in the admission price?

A:  Paintballs or Camouflage clothing.  Paintballs must be purchased form Pocono Mountain Paintball.  Paintball rates are listed on our Rates Page.  Camouflage coveralls can be rented for $6.00 per day, but are not required.

Q:  Is Paintball safe?

A:  As with any outdoor activity, there are inherent risks.  Goggles must be worn in all designated areas.  Although safety cannot be guaranteed, the entire Pocono Mountain Paintball staff makes your safety their top priority and it shows.

Q:  What is the minimum age?

A:  The minimum age allowed to play at Pocono Mountain Paintball is 10 years old.

Q:  Do we Need to bring a group?

A:  No.  Individuals and small groups can join one of our open fields.  However, if there are no open fields available then a minimum group of ten players is required, so please call ahead for availability.

Q:  Are reservations required?

A:  Yes, Reservations are required.  There are cases where we can except walk-ons, but this does not happen very often, so please call ahead to check on availability and to make a reservation.  Same day reservations are accepted based on availability.

Q:  How do I make a reservation?

A:  You can book a paintball reservation online or by calling our toll-free number 800.876.0285 and talking to one of our knowledgeable and friendly, reservation specialist.  All online reservations are considered tentative until payment information is received and a check-in time is assigned.

Q:  Do I have to sign a waiver?

A:  Yes, all participants must read and sign a liability waiver.  All players under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign for them and complete a medical release form.  Pocono Mountain Paintball Waivers and Medical Release Forms can be found on our Forms and Downloads Page.

Q:  What is Pocono Mountain Paintball's cancelation policy?

A:  Cancelations made more than 21 days prior to the date of play will receive a full refund. Reservations canceled between 7 to 20 days of the date of play will receive a full refund, less $10 per person processing fee.  Reservations canceled within 7 days of the date of play will receive no refund – this applies to no-shows and late arrivals as well. It is your responsibility to be at Pocono Mountain Paintball at the scheduled check-in time. There are no exceptions to this policy so please remember to account for weather conditions, traffic, construction, etc.

Q:  Do you offer Group discounts?

A:  Of course, when it comes to paintball, the more people you bring the more fun you will have! Please check out our Groups page for more information.

Q:  What should I wear?

A:  The majority of our Playing Fields are in the woods so please dress accordingly. We recommend wearing camouflage or dark colored clothing that cover your arms and legs for an outer layer.  Camouflage coveralls are available for rent if needed.  If the weather is going to be cool dress in layers; it can be cold between games, but once you are playing you may want to remove some clothing so you don't over heat.  Sturdy footwear is very important!  Low cut hiking boots or sneakers work best; no flip flops, sandals, or open toe / heal shoes are allowed on the fields. 

Q:  What should I bring?

A:  Here are a few recommended items you should probably bring along.  Change of clothes & a towel (hot showers on site), extra cash for Paintballs, souvenirs, & gratuities, a camera, and lunch.  We provide water on the playing fields and a FREE hotdog BBQ at the end of the day, but extra food and drinks for during the day is a must.  You can pack your own or purchase food and drinks form our on site Red Rock Cafe.

Q:  What type of equipment is used at Pocono Mountain Paintball?

A:  Tippmann 98 semi-auto paintball guns, Compressed Air, and V-Force Goggles.

Q:  Can I bring my own paintball gun?

A:  Yes, you can bring your own gun, goggles, clothing, and equipment.  All private guns will be chronographed by a Pocono Mountain Staff member. No Fully Automatic or Burst firing paintball guns / markers are allowed.  You can not bring your own paintballs, paint grenades, or any pyrotechnics.

Q:  Can I bring my own Paintballs?

A:  No.  All paintballs used at Pocono Mountain Paintball must be purchased on site.  Paintball pricing is listed on our Rates Page.

Q:  How many Paintballs will I need?

A:  The average player shoots about 500-750 paintballs during a full day and between 300-500 during a half day.

Q:  Can someone come just to watch or take pictures?

A:  Yes, a small number of Spectators may be permitted.  All Spectators must read and sign a liability waiver, pay a $10 Spectator fee, and wear goggles in all designated areas.

Q:  How do I get to Pocono Mountain Paintball?

Q:  When should I arrive?

A:  Every confirmed reservation will be assigned a Check-In time.  You must arrive no later than your assigned time.

Q:  How do you play Paintball?

A:  The most popular paintball game is based off of Capture the Flag.  Capture the other team’s flag and return it to your own flag pole, while maintaining possession of your team’s flag.  This is just one of many variations to the game.  If you have a specific game in mind just let your Referee know; as long as it is safe, we will give it a shot.

Q:  What about bad weather?

A:  We play rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather conditions, we do reserve the right to cancel and or alter your reservation.

Q:  Is lunch included?

A:  An end of the day Free Hotdog BBQ is included with every admission.  If you want lunch during the day you can bring your own food and non alcoholic beverages or order from our very own Red Rock Cafe and have your lunch delivered right to the fields.

Q:  Are gratuities acceptable?

A:  Absolutely. If your Referee contributed to your enjoyment of the day then give him a tip, it will be greatly appreciated. And we’d love to hear about it as well. Our Refs are some of the most important people on our staff and we want to know when they are doing a great job.

Q:  Can we purchase souvenirs?

A:  Absolutely! We have a first-class retail shop stocked with a wide variety of T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc….come on in!
